The Economic and Social Research Council (ESRC) recently announced its shortlist for its Celebrating Impact Prize 2018.
We’re delighted to see some of the researchers shortlisted have been working with data held by the UK Data Service and hope we’ve helped support their research and its impact.
Dr John Drury of the University of Sussex who researches Crowds and Identities has used data on Flood, Vulnerability and Resilience (2007-2009) in his work.
Meanwhile, Dr Abigail Dymond who is shortlisted for her work on Impacting national and international policy and practice around Taser and police use of force is a frequent user of data we hold, including:
- the Family Expenditure Survey
- the Family Resources Survey
- Households Below Average Income
- British Household Panel Survey Derived Current and Annual Net Household Income Variables, Waves 1-18, 1991-2009
